KEEP THE CASH IN MARION

SHOP LOCAL

We'd love to have you keep this in mind as you do your shopping!

     "the 3/50 project"

3     What three independently owned businesses would you miss if they disappeared?
50   If half the employed population spent $50 each month in locally owned independent businesses, it would generate more than $42.6 billion in revenue.
68  For every $100 spent in locally owned independent stores, $68 returns to the community through taxes, payroll, and other expenditures.
1      The number of people it takes to start the trend ... you.

Pick 3 ... Spend 50 ... Save your local economy

Be sure to check out Family Values Magazine.  This is a publication that includes coupons and offers from many local merchants.  Great Impressions is always included with a special coupon for you, our customers and friends.
The coupon is a necessity, as it is a way for us to track the benefits afforded us via Family Values. Always bring a coupon to take advantage of the coupon’s offer!
If you do not receive your own copy of Family Values, you can pick one up at various locations in the community … Ault’s Driving School, Peacock Water, or Goldrush Jewelers.
Additionally, you can go to the Family Values website and download and print your coupon (even more than one!).  On this website, you can also sign up to receive your copy of Family Values online.

If you are on our email list, you will receive the link each time a new Family Values Magazine comes out.  If you are not on our list and would like to be, let us know by stopping in the store, or email us at pcase@grtimpressions.com

The idea of shopping local is being promoted all over our country. We're proud to say that this grassroots effort for Marion started with us. Donna and I have always called Marion our home. We've witnessed many changes in our community over the years. As with many other people, we chose to raise our families here, and live and work here. We feel an obligation to do our part to make Marion the best it can be. By shopping at local independent businesses, you support your community. $.45 of a dollar spent in an independent business stays in our local economy compared to $.15 spent at a chain or big box store. Our purpose of this effort is to make people aware and ask them to stop and think before spending money outside our community. Please ask yourself - Do Marion residents support my employer thereby securing my job and income? Please make a conscious effort to do business with local businesses. We've had a tremendous response from radio, television, and local businesses. Following is a list of businesses supporting our effort.
