Give Back December 26th

Boxing Day, also known as St. Stephen’s Day, originated in Britain and is celebrated in Australia, Britain, Canada, and New Zealand every year.  This day is a day to give back to those less fortunate.  This year challenge yourself to celebrate this good hearted day.

The day after Christmas is a day to relax and spend time with family.  This year take some time out of your day to give back.  Take a look at what you got for Christmas and donate your items that have been replaced. If you got any clothing, go through your closet and box up all the items you have not worn in awhile and take them to Goodwill or Salvation Army.  While you are at it, also take the items you have been meaning to take for a long while.  This is a great way to continue the Holiday Season between Christmas and New Years’.

In this unpredictable economy many are in need more than ever before.  Please think about celebrating this compassionate day this year.

Our tradition at Great Impressions is to spend the day after Christmas with our family and friends. Again this year we will be closed on December 26. From all of us, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
